AMOXICILLIN FP 15% INJ

 

TARGET SPECIES: Horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, and birds (hens – substitute juveniles, broilers).


INDICATIONS: Administer the product to horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats and birds (hens – substitute juveniles, broilers) in the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to the action of the active substance: respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal tract infections, urogenital infections, mammary gland infections, joint infections, skin infections.

COMPOSITION:
1 ml of product contains:
Active substance:
Amoxic trihydrate…………………………………………150 mg
Excipients:
Methylhydroxybenzoate……………………………………...2.0 mg
Propylhydroxybenzoate……………………………………...0.2 mg
Sodium carboxymethylcellulose, povidone, sodium citrate, water for injections.
 
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Do not administer to small herbivores (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters).
Do not administer intravenously.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

Allergic or anaphylactic reactions may be present in animals that are sensitive to penicillin. At the site of inoculation, edema may develop, which goes away within a few days.
If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not stated in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.

 

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Administer the product subcutaneously or intramuscularly in a dose of 1 ml of product/10 kg b.w. Repeat the treatment after 48 hours, up to healing. Do not exceed 5 days of treatment. In order to ensure proper dosage, the bodyweight should be determined as accurately as possible so as to avoid underdoing.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
Stir the bottle before use.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, birds (hens – substitute juveniles, broilers) – 21 days.
Milk: cattle, sheep, goats – 3 days.
Do not use in birds producing eggs for human consumption.
 

STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach of children.  Keep away from frost. Keep away from sunlight. Keep in the original packaging. Do not use after the expiration date stated on the label. Shelf life after first opening the primary packaging: 28 days.
