ASCOMICIN
TARGET SPECIES: Cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs, cats.
INDICATIONS: The treatment of skin wounds and eye diseases (conjunctivitis) in cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.
100 g of ointment contain:
Active substances:
Benzylpenicillin (in the form of potassium salt)........2,000,000 I.U.
Streptomycin (as sulfate)........................................1,440,000 I.U
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to the excipients of the product.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
There may be local or systemic allergic reactions. If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not stated in this leaflet, please inform your veterinari.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
- In the treatment of skin wounds: apply the ointment to the entire surface of the wounds, once or several times a day, for 3-5 days, and the amount of ointment used depends on the extent of the wounds.
- In the treatment of eye diseases (conjunctivitis): apply the ointment in the conjunctival sac, once or twice a day, for 3-5 days, based on a recommendation from the veterinarian.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
In order to make the treatment more effective, the following is required:
- Isolating any sick animals;
- Bringing the product to room temperature before administration.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and organs: cattle, sheep, pigs - zero days
Milk: cattle, sheep - zero days.
STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store at temperatures lower than 25°C.
Keep away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from frost.
Keep in the original packaging.
Keep the packaging tightly closed.
Do not use after the expiration date stated on the tube.
Shelf life after first opening the primary packaging: 3 months.
