TARGET SPECIES: Horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, hens, dogs and cats.

 

INDICATIONS: In horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and hens, in the treatment of urogenital, respiratory and digestive infections, mastitis, salmonellosis, mycoplasmosis, endometritis, sepsis, skin infections, abscesses, phlegmons and secondary infections in viral diseases.

COMPOSITION:
1 ml of solution for injection contains:
Active substance:
Kanamycin (in the form of sulfate)………………………….250 mg
Excipients:
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate………………………………..2.0 mg
Propyl parahydroxybenzoate………………………………..0.2 mg
 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use for animals with yeanlingney failure. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
It sometimes causes pain at the site of injection. If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not listed in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
It shall be administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously (preferably divided, 12 hours apart) in the following doses:
Horses, cattle: 2 ml of product/100 kg bw/day.
Pigs, sheep, goats: 2 ml of product/50 kg bw/day.
Dogs, cats: 0.1 ml of product/kg bw/day.
Hens: 0.1 ml of product/kg bw/day.
The administration time is 3 to 5 days depending on the evolution of the condition. If the animals do not show any improvement in their health, consult the veterinarian for a re-assessment of the diagnosis.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
In order to ensure the proper dosage, the body weight of the animals should be determined as accurately as possible.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, hens – 10 days.
Milk: cattle, sheep, goats – 36 hours.
Use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption is not allowed.


STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store at temperatures lower than 25°C.
Keep the bottle tightly closed.
Keep away from sunlight.
Keep away from frost.
Do not use after the expiration date stated on the bottle.
Shelf life after the first opening of the primary packaging: 28 days.
