GENTOCIN DOSER
TARGET SPECIES: Piglets during the first 15 days of life.
INDICATIONS: GENTOCIN–DOSER oral solution is administered to piglets during the first 15 days of life. It is recommended for the prevention (in herds where the diagnosis has been confirmed) and the treatment of gastro-enteritis caused by E. coli and other gentamicin-sensitive bacteria.
1 ml of solution contains:
Active substance:
Gentamicin (as sulfate)…………………………………………5 mg
Excipients:
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate…………………………………..2 mg
Propyl parahydroxybenzoate…………………………………0.2 mg
Sodium chloride, distilled water.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
The medicine shall be administered orally using the dosing pump or a graduated syringe. Press once on the head of the pump (with a single press, 1 ml of solution is released) or measure 1 ml of GENTOCIN-DOSER solution in a syringe, to obtain the daily dose of 5 mg of gentamicin, required to treat a piglet. This dose shall be administered individually from the time when the first signs of the disease are noticed.
If the symptoms do not go away within one day, a new dose will be administered the next day.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
Not required.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: 28 days.
STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach of children.
Keep at room temperature (15-25°C).
Keep away from direct sunlight.
Keep away from frost.
Do not use after the expiration date stated on the bottle.
Shelf life after the first opening of the primary packaging: 3 months.
