Directions:
Granulated Hepa Merz is used to treat latent or manifest hepatic encephalopathy in patients with insufficient liver detoxification activity (eg in liver cirrhosis) and their complications.
Administration method:
The contents of 1 - 2 envelopes of granulated Hepa-Merz will be dissolved in a sufficient amount of liquid (for example a glass of water, tea or juice) and the solution obtained will be administered orally up to 3 times / day.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to L-ornithine-L-aspartate or to any of the excipients.
Severe renal impairment (a creatinine plasma concentration of 3 mg / 100 ml can be considered as a reference value).
Patients with rare hereditary conditions such as fructose intolerance, glucose malabsorption - galactose or sucrose deficiency - isomaltase should not be given granulated Hepa-Merz.
The administration of this medicine in children is not indicated.
