Indications:
- to prevent and treat calcium and vitamin D deficiency in the elderly;
- as an adjunctive treatment with calcium and vitamin D in osteoporosis (fragile bones).

Do not use Calcium Sandoz Osteo:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to calcium, vitamin D3 or any of the other ingredients of Calcium Sandoz Osteo
- if you have high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcemia)
- if you have high levels of calcium in your urine ( hypercalciuria)
- if you have hyperactivity of the parathyroid glands (hyperparathyroidism)
- if you have bone marrow cancer (myeloma)
- if you have a type of cancer that can affect your bones (bone metastases)
- if you have immobilized extremities (prolonged immobilization) accompanied by hypercalcemia and / or hypercalciuria
- if you have kidney stones (nephrolithiasis)
- if you have calcium deposits in the kidneys (nephrocalcinosis)
- if you have a surplus of vitamin D in your blood (hypervitaminosis D )
- if you have severe kidney problems

Composition:
- The active substances are calcium and cholecalciferol. Each chewable tablet contains 2500 mg of calcium carbonate (equivalent to 1000 mg of calcium) and 8.8 mg of concentrated colecalciferol powder (equivalent to 22 micrograms of colecalciferol = vitamin D3 880 IU)
- The other ingredients are: isomalt (E 953), xylitol, sorbitol (E 420), anhydrous citric acid, sodium dihydrogen citrate, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, orange flavor "CPB" (contains natural concentrated orange oil, natural oil / identical natural mandarin, natural liquid flavor / identical natural tropical fruit, solid natural flavor / identical natural multifruit, mannitol (E 421), maltodextrin, gluconolactone, sorbitol (E 420) and orange flavor "CVT" (contains oil natural orange, natural mandarin oil, powder with identical natural orange flavor, mannitol (E 421), gluconolactone, sorbitol (E 420), medium chain triglycerides), aspartame (E 951), potassium acesulfame, sodium ascorbate, alpha tocopherol, modified corn starch, sugar, medium chain triglycerides, silicon dioxide

Method of administration: The
tablets should be chewed before swallowing. They can be taken at any time, with or without food.
