Indications:
Deep Relief contains ibuprofen and levomenthol.
Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which provide effective relief from pain and inflammation.
Levomenthol provides a pain-relieving sensation.
Deep Relief is a non-greasy gel that should be applied to the skin to relieve pain.
It is used to relieve:
- rheumatic pain;
- muscle pain;
- pain and inflammation in case of dislocations, sprains and sports injuries;
- pain associated with mild forms of osteoarthritis.
Contraindications:
Do not use Deep Relief:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen, levomenthol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Precautions:
Before using Deep Relief, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
During the first 5 months of pregnancy, your doctor may prescribe this medicine if necessary.
You should not use Deep Relief from the 6th month of pregnancy.
The medicine passes into breast milk. As a precaution, its use should be avoided during breast-feeding.
Driving and using machines:
Deep Relief does not affect your ability to drive or use machines.
How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
For each application of Deep Relief, use 1-4 cm of gel for the 30, 50 or 100 g tubes and 4-10 cm of gel for the 15 g tube.
Massage gently until the gel is absorbed into the skin. You may feel a tingling sensation.
Repeat the application if necessary, but not more than 3 times a day.
