Properties:
- can help reduce thyroid hormone levels in case of increased thyroid gland activity;
- can have a calming effect on the nervous system;
- Lycopus virginicus is a plant native to North America that may have calming properties;
- Lemon balm can be useful in states of agitation and emotional restlessness;
- Goosefoot, sage and lavender are plants that can have a calming effect on both the central nervous system and the heart.
Dosage:
Children 10-16 years: 1 capsule 2 times a day, between meals*.
Children over 16 years and adults: 1 capsule 3 times a day, between meals*. If a stronger effect is needed, up to 6 capsules can be administered per day, on the recommendation of the doctor or pharmacist.
Duration of the course: 4-6 months. The course can be repeated after a one-month break.
* between meals means that the administration should not be associated with food, therefore it is optimal to do it at least one hour after the last meal, and one hour after the next meal. This means that the product can be administered in the morning, at least one hour before meals, and in the evening at least one hour after meals.
Ingredients per capsule:
– Lemon balm (Melissae herba) 82.5 mg
– Dry extract of Lycopus virginicus standardized in min. 0.5% lithospermic acid 66 mg
– Goosefoot (Leonuri herba) 66 mg
– Sage (Salviae herba) 66 mg
– Lavender flowers (Lavandulae flos).
Side effects and interactions:
This product can be used concomitantly with other medications.
No side effects have been reported at the recommended doses.
Contraindications:
Not recommended for hypothyroidism, children under 10 years of age (effects on young children are insufficiently studied) and in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Not recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers due to possible effects of stimulating uterine contractions. Bioactive substances pass into breast milk and may change the taste of the milk
