Indications:
Cyclodynon is a herbal medicine used for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome (symptoms that occur in the days before the monthly menstrual cycle) in adult women over 18 years of age.
Contraindications:
Do not take Cyclodynon:
- if you are allergic to sea buckthorn dry fruit extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Precautions:
Before taking Cyclodynon, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
There is no reason for use during pregnancy.
Cyclodynon is not recommended during pregnancy. Due to the lack of adequate data, use during breast-feeding is not recommended.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Driving and using machines:
No studies on the effect on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed. To date, there is no evidence that the use of Cyclodynon affects the ability to drive and use machines. However, in patients who experience dizziness, the ability to drive and use machines may be impaired.
How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or
pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose for adult women over 18 years of age is 1 film-coated tablet once a day.
Swallow the film-coated tablet with a sufficient amount of liquid (e.g. a glass of water). Do not chew the tablets.
To achieve an optimal effect of the treatment, continuous use for 3 months (also during menstruation) is recommended.
If symptoms persist after continuous use for a period of three months, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.
Children and adolescents:
There is no relevant recommendation for use in pre-pubertal girls. Use in girls and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of adequate data (see section 2).
Special patient groups:
No data are available for dosage instructions in case of impaired renal/hepatic function.
Talk to your doctor before taking Cyclodynon in case of renal/hepatic insufficiency.

Composition:
One film-coated tablet contains 20 mg extract (as dry extract) of Vitex agnus castus L., fructus (sea buckthorn fruit) (7-11:1). Extraction solvent: ethanol 70% (v/v).
The other ingredients are:
Povidone 30, colloidal anhydrous silica, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (vegetable), Opadry amb II (polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), glyceryl monocaprylocaprate and sodium lauryl sulfate).
