Properties:
Influenza conditions.
Oscillococcinum is a homeopathic medicine.
Composition:
The active substance is: Anas barbariae, hepatis et cordis extractum 200K 0.01 ml for 1 dose a1 g globules, sucrose, lactose.
Method of administration:
Oral administration.
Adults and children: The dose should be adjusted according to the stage of the disease:
- preventive treatment: one vial of a single dose per week during the period of influenza exposure.
- during the incubation period and at the onset of the disease: a single dose vial as soon as the first symptoms appear. Repeat 2 or 3 times every 6 hours.
- disease period: a single dose bottle 2 times a day (preferably in the morning and evening) for 1 to 3 days. Allow the entire contents of the single-dose vial to dissolve under the tongue.
Children under 6 years: The
contents of the single-dose tube are dissolved in a glass of water and administered with a teaspoon or bottle.
Usual dosage:
Dosage varies depending on when the disease progresses:
- Preventive treatment: take one dose per week during the period of influenza exposure.
- Early flu: take a dose as early as possible, possibly repeat the treatment 2 or 3 times every 6 hours.
- Declared influenza: take one dose in the morning and evening for 1 to 3 days. If symptoms persist after 3 days, consult a doctor.
