Otirelax ear drops solution, 15 ml, Rompharm
Properties:
OTIRELAX is used as an adjunct in the treatment of otitis media caused by otitis media in patients with intact eardrum
Contains phenazone and lidocaine monohydrate. Phenazone is a substance used to
reduce inflammation and pain. Lidocaine monohydrate is a substance used for local anesthesia.
Otirelax helps relieve pain and inflammation in the ear in patients whose eardrum
is not broken.

Composition:
Each milliliter of ear drops, solution, contains phenazone 45.5 mg and lidocaine hydrochloride
monohydrate 11.4 mg
Method of administration:
The recommended dose is 4 drops of OTIRELAX 2-3 times a day; they are applied to the
external auditory canal.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.
If the symptoms do not improve after 2-3 days of treatment, it is necessary to re-evaluate the
therapeutic approach .
To avoid the unpleasant sensation produced by the introduction of the cold solution into the ear canal, it is recommended to
bring the vial to body temperature before administering the drops.
If OTIRELAX is used in combination with other ear drops, an interval of at
least 30 minutes should be observed between administrations.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to lafenazone to pyrazole derivatives (metamizole, isopropylaminophenazone, propyl-phenazone), to lidocaine hydrochloride or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. Perforation of the eardrum of infectious or traumatic origin.
