Therapeutic indications
Paduden 200 mg is indicated for:
- treatment of acute or chronic rheumatic disorders: inflammatory or degenerative joint rheumatism, extra-articular rheumatism;
- symptomatic treatment of painful conditions: Headache, Migraine (treatment and prophylaxis), dental pain, dysmenorrhea, osteoarticular and muscular pain (including tendonitis, bursitis, dislocations, sprains )
- symptomatic treatment of fever.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the excipients of the product.
Because cross-reactivity between acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs has been reported, Paduden 200 mg is contraindicated in patients with allergic reactions such as asthma, urticaria, rhinitis, nasal polyps and angioneurotic edema, to this group of drugs.
Active or history of gastrointestinal ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcerative colitis, severe hepatic and / or renal failure.
Systemic lupus erythematosus or other collagenous.
Pregnancy (starting with the sixth month).
Dosage and method of administration
Adults and children over 15 years of age: the usual dose is 400 mg ibuprofen (2 Paduden 200 mg capsules) 2-3 times daily, not exceeding 1200 mg ibuprofen daily.
The capsules are swallowed whole, with a little water, preferably after meals.
In children under 15 years, it is recommended to use the appropriate pharmaceutical forms.
