Properties:
Profecund INO is a dietary supplement based on standardized natural extracts, myo-inositol and B vitamins, to reduce unpleasant symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS): fertility problems caused by menstrual cycle and irregular ovulation, accentuated premenstrual syndrome, hirsutism (exaggerated hair growth especially in the face, back or chest area).

Active ingredients (per daily dose):
Vitex agnus castus 40 mg, QuatrefolicTM 755 mcg (400 mcg folate, 100% VNR *) and Mio-inozitol 4000 mg. The product contains Vitamin B2 (2.8 mg, 200% VNR *), Stevia rebaudiana and fructose (sweeteners) and lemon flavor.
Mio-inositol is a pseudovitamin made up of 9 molecules with similar structure (isomers), found especially in cereals and citrus fruits. With a glucose-like structure, inositol is involved in cellular signal transmission, thus contributing to increased insulin sensitivity and improved insulin receptor activity. In women with polycystic ovary syndrome, myo-inositol helps lower testosterone levels and restore normal menstrual cycle.
Vitex acts on the hypothalamus and pituitary gland (pituitary gland), which will later act on the ovaries to release estrogen and progesterone, preparing the body for ovulation. Vitex is extremely effective in maintaining adequate levels of progesterone during the post-ovulatory phase, levels required for pregnancy.
QuatrefolicTM is the form of active folate with improved bioavailability and complete absorption in the intestinal cells, which favors the process of cell division and prevents neural tube defects in the fetus.
Vitamin B2 (also called riboflavin) acts as an antioxidant, which controls the presence of free radicals with harmful action, inside the human body. Riboflavin is required for the production of an antioxidant called glutathione, which acts as a "destroyer" of free radicals and, at the same time, detoxifies the liver.
