DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE (S) OF ADMINISTRATION AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
PYRATEL CD suspension is administered orally by syringe directly into the oral cavity or mixed with food in the following doses:
• Dogs: 1 ml PYRATEL CD / kg body weight;
• Cats: 4 ml PYRATEL CD / kg body weight.
Routine treatments:
Puppies and kittens up to the 12th week of life: The
first treatment is done on the 14th day of life, and the subsequent ones at intervals of two weeks until the age of 10 weeks. If the infestation persists, it is recommended that treatment be continued every 2 weeks until the animal is 12 weeks old.
Dogs and cats over 12 weeks of age:
For animals living in satisfactory hygienic conditions, it is sufficient for them to be treated regularly at 3-month intervals. In cases of poor hygiene and in conditions of excessive heat and humidity, which favours the development of parasites, animals should be treated on the advice of a doctor.
Pregnant bitches and cats:
Cats should be treated 2, 4 and 6 weeks after each heat cycle. Pregnant females will be treated about 10 days before calving and 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks after each calving (with their chicks). Outside these periods, the treatment of animals living in good hygienic conditions will be repeated at intervals of 3 months.
Treatments in parasitic infestations:
The animal should be treated with a first dose and then repeated every 2-3 weeks because good protection helps to increase the vitality of the treated animal. These measures are also justified by the fact that any dog or cat infected with parasites poses a threat to the health of people in its vicinity (especially children).
No dietary measures are required before administration of the product.
